About Saratoga Jacks

Saratoga Jacks was founded in Saratoga Springs, Utah around 2010 with a simple goal: create practical, reliable solutions for everyday life and emergency preparedness.

At the center of that mission was the thermal cooker (often called a “cordless crockpot").

Designed to cook meals using retained heat rather than constant power, it quickly became a favorite among preparedness-minded families looking for efficient, low-energy cooking options.

Through local events and trade shows, Saratoga Jacks helped introduce thermal cooking to a wider audience, building a strong community of customers who valued self-reliance and simplicity.

Over time, customers began using their cookers in ways that went far beyond food storage. From weeknight dinners to long road trips, camping, and outdoor adventures, the versatility of thermal cooking became clear.

Today, Saratoga Jacks is focused on continuing that legacy by providing products that are dependable, practical, and built for real life, whether at home or off the grid.

As the company enters a new chapter, the mission remains the same: help people cook smarter, live more efficiently, and be prepared for whatever comes next.
