Enjoy cordless slow cooking with the Saratoga Jacks Thermal Cooker. Its insulated stainless steel build keeps heat in, helping cut fuel use by up to 80%. Two stainless steel pots nest inside—one large 5.5L pot and one smaller pot for sides. Use one or both, at home or on the move. Both work on induction stoves and serve roughly 3–6 people.

1. It is important to save the original purchase receipt with your Order number Saratoga Jacks LLC limited warranty covers the cost of labor and parts used for repair service performed within 1 year from the date of purchased as printed on your receipt.

2. The warranty does not cover the damage to any unit caused by accident, misuse or any alteration or modifications made or have been made by the customer.

3. The warranty does not cover the postage, freight or delivery fee for sending the products to and from our service agency.

4. The warranty does not cover damage in transit.

5. Shipping: Saratoga Jacks does not guarantee shipping, delays caused by Union strikes, slowdowns, weather or  anything that is out of our control. Allow 7 to 10 business days for shipping.

6. This warranty does not cover the damage under these conditions;

  • Immersion of the thermal unit in water.
  • Uses other than specified in the instruction manual
  • Repair service at any unauthorized agent.
  • Fire, earthquake, flood, thunder lightning and other natural disasters
  • Damage caused by pests, insects, or animals  
  • Water softeners that use salt, which can cause corrosion and should be avoided. To wash the cooking pot, use clean, fresh water and dry completely. Also, if using on a boat in seawater, make sure you wash in clean, fresh water when finished and dry it completely.
  • Keep away from small children.
  • Never put the cooking pots into the Thermal Cooker wet when storing.
  • All returns must be approved by Saratoga Jacks LLC
  • Neglect (forcing the handle the wrong way and breaking it.)

 

7. Returns need to be approved before sending back to Saratoga Jacks, LLC . An in store credit will be issued or a refund less 20% restocking will be issued.

8. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

    I now have both the 7 & 5.5 liter thermal cookers. These are great! Keep the cold, & hot items hot for a long time. Really enjoy being able to put the inner pots on multiple cooking sources to heat up. I’m passing the word along to family & friends about these guys. You won’t regret your purchase. Took a long time to get the 5.5 pot, but worth the wait. Thanks SJ. Keep up the good work!

    When using our electric crockpot our meat usually ended up too dry. Not with this Thermal cooker! Tender and juicy! Wish we had bought one of these years ago!

    I have made several meals of rice and topping in this unit, and it works GREAT! I love how you can cook two meals.

    The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that I wish there was a smaller "tin" you could put in the top or bottom portion to cook bread items. I've read a few posts (although I haven't tried it - so unclear if this actually works) where people have done bread items in a tin surrounded by the water of the larger kettles. So - if that is actually not possible; then I change my 4 to a 5:) Love it - you will too!

    Great in retaining heat but bad in browning

    While this pot is great in retaining heat, it simply doesn't work when browning a big chunk of meat. Once the meat drops into the pot, the temperature drops dramatically and the result is with only one side got browned. All the meat juice will run out due to the low temperature. My workaround is use other pots like cast iron (actually ANY pot I have, stainless, nonstick...works better than SaratogaJack for browning meat) to brown the meat first and then transfer it to SaratogaJack. It works great.

    I haven't cooked anything in my cooker yet but did a test with boiling water. The water was still over 130 degrees after ten hours. I find that impressive.
    The construction of the product is the most impressive so far. The small tabs that protrude the pot handle above the rim of the cooker to the notch in the handle for easy access. I'm sure this will last for years to come. The price for the triple bottom stainless steel pot is worth he price of the whole unit. Thanks again for offering a quality product

    I haven't had a chance to use this yet but want to say it arrived very well packed and in good condition. It seems to be of high quality and I'm anxious to try one of the recipes. I mainly purchased it in case of power failure of emergencies but after reading the comments I definitely will use it on a regular basis.

    I have used the 5.5 liter cooker a few times for rice, beans, lentils and squash. A full pot of rice and lentils mixed was done in 2 hours. It's very impressive to see how much heat is retained after many hours. My goal now is to be able to reproduce Manna Bread that is made of 100% sprouted grains. The recipe book arrived today and is very nicely done. I’m am telling everyone about this product.
